All of our classes follow the Waldorf education program. This entails play based learning in a nature themed environment. In each of the three classes, furniture is made of wood. All items in the classroom are made of natural materials like wood and fabric. all decor in the classrooms is handmade by the students and educators, like the watercolor paintings on the wall. All toys are nature or real life inspired, made to spark imaginative play. The activities in each class build off of one another, adding more activities and strengthening previously learned skills as your child progresses through each class. Our curriculum focuses on the importance of play and instilling a love for real life skills. Desert sprouts focus on Storytime, connecting families, and group activities. In the Sunbeam Preschool, we will continue to practice listening and imagination through stories, students will also begin imaginative play with costumes and free play, and baking.
